1–What was the most surprising thing you have learned about American History this semester?
2–In a thoughtful paragraph or two I want you to predict the future in three areas:
a) How long will the war against militant Islam continue? Can it be won? Explain how and why or why not.
b) How should the United States respond to a burgeoning bureaucracy, onerous government regulations, and a federal government that grows larger and more powerful each year? In other words, are we doomed to be controlled by a nanny state that takes care of us from cradle to grave, while at the same time takes our freedoms.
c) How should the United States respond to the challenges presented by a growing China, nuclear weapons in Iran and North Korea, radical Islam, and an impotent United Nations?
