For this assignment, you are to search the online databases in our library to find a scholarly research article on the topic of you Mini-Project. Carefully read your selected article, considering all we have learned in Chapters 5-8 of our textbook. In your review, you will want to demonstrate your mastery of content from these chapters by including discussion of relevant material. Write your review in a document which you will upload into this assignment link.
Please note the format and content of your second review below:
1. Anticipated title of your Mini-Project.
2. Brief abstract of your Mini-Project research proposal. Here I am referring to your assigned Mini-Project, NOT the selected article (one paragraph).
3. Citation for your selected research article in APA format, which must be correct APA style. Please attach a .pdf file copy of your chosen article. In most cases, you can obtain the .pdf file. If you can’t for some reason, either provide a copy in another format, or provide a direct link to your article. I must be able to read your article in order to properly assess your work.
4. Succinctly state the research question(s) examined in your selected article.
5. Describe the purpose/type of research that was done in your selected journal article. Refer to purposes of research on p. 12 of textbook.
6. Identify three primary variables in your article. Provide the operational definition of each and the level of measurement for each.
7. Describe the research design for the study in your selected article. Be as specific as possible and put it into your own words as much as possible. Make sure you understand the essence of the research design. Design options for this question come from Chapter 7 in our main textbook.
8. Describe the sampling plan for the study in your article. Use the language we learned from Chapter 8 in our text, i.e. population, sample element, sampling techniques. Was a probability or non-probability sampling technique utilized?
9. Do you find this research helpful to you in considering your specific topic for Mini-Project? In what way?
