How the Somali conflict’s peace reconciliation, power-sharing process was conducted and government was set up.

Provide a coherent well-researched and well-referenced case study about the above question. It should be 2500-3000 words. Case study with very clear standard, plain British English of and first or second class. The reference should not be including the 2500-3000. There should not be traces of plagiarism as there is very strict rule of it.

The content of the case study

• Exploration of how Somali conflict started and the root causes.
• Not only narrations of history but in terms of the aspects of conflict and it’s resolutions such as the different groups evolving the conflict, their motives. And the role of the third part moderators through out the conflict. You would still need an overall sense of the broader scope of the conflict, and you might also look at more than just one aspect.
• Humanitarian crises caused by the conflict, the peace keeping operations including the humanitarian interventions.

Sources need;

For this case study about Somali conflict and its reconciliation process, there are two sorts of sources I need to have:
• Sources relating to the Somalia and the east Africa.
• Sources relating to the Conflict Resolution ideas/debates relevant to Somalia such as Power sharing agreements and the analysis of the interpretation of power sharing in the peace and conflict resolution context.
• Identifying the direct participants of this conflict: e.g. countries, political organisations, ethnic or religious parties, fighters, ‘terrorist groups’ pirates. Examine different perspectives, aims, grievances etc. and what they each wanted in any resolutions.
• The indirect participants of the this conflict: local and international actors if any, who do not directly participating in a conflict, but are/were involved in some way – e.g. those provoking hostilities, or others helping to reduce hostilities, supporting one side or both sides. This can be states or non-state actors
• And in depth analaysis of peacekeeping, peace accords, power sharing, transitional process of reconciliations involved e.g. conflict prevention techniques used, negotiations, mediation processes, arbitration and adjudications tried.

How it should be written

• It is not a standard essay, and this means that it can be divided into sections and sub headings.
• The case study must be a critical, in depth analysis of all the events by exploring the economic, political and social sides.
• In depth assessment of the relative success or failures of the conflict and it’s resolution process in order to achieve its objectives
