Here is my professor’s comments, please read it and editing this paper:
1) Go through the paper and check it for grammatical errors.
2) Your comparative analysis between China and the U.S. is good. However, you need to organize the paper for the reader more because you provide a lot of information (views of elites in China, views of regular citizens, military capacity of both nations, and democratic norms). Work through the paper and identify where the topics change. Then make each different analysis its own section, with a subsection title and clear transitions for the reader. I would also expand the introduction section to reflect this organization (you clearly address more topics than the one you point to in your first paragraph).
