This will allow you to explore issues of culture and make recommendations for culturally competent practice.

We have studied United States history from 1865 until 1963, however, in our discussion and previous assignments we have drawn connection to the current time period which we are living, and making HISTORY. The reason we have done this is because it is of vital importance to review the past for clarity in the present and preparation for the future. In this last assignment, I’d like you to chose one of the themes listed below, and do a summary (or a review) of this theme in US history from 1865-1963, and then conclude by discussing its ramifications for today and the future.
