Ourselves in Nature”

I need a narrative essay (two full pages no heading needed) about the first camping trip my father, brother, and I took in the Poconos, Pennsylvania. It

was during the last summer vacation from school. We encountered wildlife such as bears, skunks, and deer. We went fishing on a lake. Went hiking on

trails thru the camp grounds. At first my brother and I were miserable but eventually enjoyed ourselves. Even though it wasn’t very easy and we didn’t

have the comforts of home like TV, Video games, air conditioning, refrigerator or microwave, we learned so much about nature and were able to talk and

interact with each other more than we ever did before. At times we were scared tired and hungry but we also laughed a lot and had a great time. This

trip made me learn to appreciate nature and my father and brother. It created many memories which I will always cherish. I can’t wait to go camping

again.
