This assignment uses the research and content of your presentation to develop a formal document to
submit to stakeholders/CEOs/CIOs/CFOs/supervisors from which they will make decisions for taking the
enterprise/corporation/project forward
as part of change management
.
This assignm
ent is different
in that it will be marked harder than the others, demanding a demonstration
of understanding of the critical distinctions of systems analysis and design we have covered so far.
Further, more will
be demanded of your skills as a writer and a communicator
in order to effectively
impart
the sa
lient points of your report, using the language of precision
as well as diagrams
to clarify
and convey the mental models you are using.
In essence, you want to
test
your report (T in PADIT) however formally or informally you choose, before
you submit it.
Work to c
lose your
feedback loop by giving your report to a colleague/friend/

parental
unit

to read and then reflect back what you have. Ideally, their descript
ion/retelling of your report will
match the message/purpose/goals you set out to achieve.

While there are standard parts of a report, you will want to personalize/stylize your report to reflect
your competitive advantage/value

Use Mary’s Seven Steps to help you structure your report.
Incorporate
an executive summary,
a budget and a list of who is going to co
mplete tasks, along with a
timeline, all as appropriate.
Include an invoice for your consulting work with your stylized brand.
