How can we live for long time?
1. Length: 6 pages, minimum double-spaced, typewritten or computer-generated pages.
2. Format: students will follow the Modern Language Association( MLA) pattern.
3. Documentation: Modern Language Association ( MLA) parenthetical ( In-Text) is the only method accepted. A paper using any other documentation format will receive a zero grade.
4. Number of sources: 8, minimum. Include print sources and electronic sources as appropriate ( and available) for the instructor-approved analysis topic. No student note services, whether in print or online, will be accepted ( Pink Monkey, Spark Notes, Cliff Notes, Barron’s, etc) No standard encyclopedia and dictionary sources may be used as official sources ( whether print or online: Britannica, Encarta, Wikipedia, etc). Use a variety of current ( within the last 4 years) and legitimate media, online, or print sources in the field.
5.PLAGIARISM: it’s the duty of students to present incontrovertible evidence to refute any lowering of grade due to plagiarism, whether conscious or unconscious. Motive is not a consideration.
6. Documentation in 3 different areas of the paper must be present and done correctly for a passing grade- Parenthetical Documentation ( In – Text Citation) in the text; a complete Works Cited page, with at least one corresponding parenthetical documentation in the paper; original source documentation, through the submission of photocopies/ printouts from all borrowed sources that can be rendered in hard copy form( the first page and all pages from which ideas, summaries, or qoutes have been taken).
The absence of any of the areas of documentation in the paper will result in a failing mark.
