Here are three questions. answers should be short and clear.
1. Write a brief exposition showing the contribution of the Hebrews to Western Civilization. You will need to be specific about monotheism and Hebrew representational practices.
2. Find an example of classical Roman architecture. Identify the piece and where you found it. Select an example of Greek architecture and provide the same identification. Compare the two examples as regards style and explain how they show the difference in sensibility between the two cultures.
3. What made the dark ages dark? Explain with a comparison to Neolithic cities. if you wish to discuss Beowulf in this context it would be helpful.
