For this assignment, you are asked to examine a newspaper article or a television newscast story for

potential ideological bias.  Ideological bias is defined as the perceived preference by a media outlet for

one political party, candidate or ideology over another.  Using your selected newspaper article or

television news story, write a one to two-page analysis indicating whether such bias is present.

Support your conclusions with specific examples, quotes, experts, photos, numbers, etc.

For example, does the story only quote a Republican member of Congress or only President Obama?

Does it show members of congress working hard while the president is shown golfing?
