Foundation for this assignment

As we continue progressing through the phases of PRECEDE:PROCEED and the 7 Areas of Responsibility, we have learned how important it is to evaluate health education programs. In this assignment, you will think about how to evaluate the hypothetical program you have been developing throughout the SLP.

Task (do not write an essay):

1. What topic and population have you been focusing on for the SLP?

2. Why is it important for you to evaluate the health education program you are developing for this SLP? Please provide several reasons and support them with references.

3. What was the goal for the program you have been developing throughout the SLP? If I sent feedback to revise the way you wrote your goal in SLP 3, please use the revised goal.

4. List 3 questions would you want to answer in the formative evaluation specifically for your program. (you will not earn credit for copying the ones on the homepage)

5. List 3 questions would you want to answer in the impact evaluation specifically for that program. They should relate directly to the learning & behavioral objectives you developed in SLP 3.
