Journal

Research short story writers from the country you chose to work with in first journal. Find a short fiction story from one of the writers and read it (online or in the library – I don’t mean for you to have to pay for this). Type a one-page double-spaced in Times New Roman 12 journal entry giving very brief background of the writer, a very brief synopsis of the story, and a full paragraph or two telling your ideas/impressions about the story, the country and culture from having read the story. Provide an MLA citation for the information on the writer and the story. *Be sure the MLA citation is in the most current MLA style. See owl.english.purdue.edu for more information, if you don’t have access to a handbook with most current style.
