Kant’s distinction between theoretical and practical knowledge.

Explain Kant’s distinction between theoretical and practical knowledge. How does it relate to the guiding questions of each of Kant’s first two Critiques – the Critique of Pure Reason and the Critique of Practical Reason? In what respects do the projects these two books resemble each other and to what extent do they differ?

In writing your papers, don’t forget to pay special attention to a correct use of Kant’s strict terminology. Do your best to explain how Kant’s arguments work, what makes them convincing. Do not trivialize the argument: even if you are unconvinced by it, and want to refute it, you still have to explain how someone like Kant could be convinced by it.
