Write a letter to the editor addressing an inequity in healthcare currently occurring in your community. Refer to Theoretical Conceptual Models figures 2 and 3 for issues to address in the letter. Include 1 legal concern related to your inequity. 2 to 3 references. Follow the grading rubric attached below. There’s a sample letter attached below as well.

In this activity you will write a letter to the editor of your hometown newspaper addressing an inequity
in health care currently occurring in your community.
Directions:
1. Refer to the Theoretical Conceptual Models doc as a reference for issues to address in your letter.
 Figure 2 “Conceptual Model Linking Race and Ethnicity with Health Care experiences”
 Figure 3 “Conceptual Model Linking Socioeconomic Status with Health”
2. Include at least one legal concern that you identify related to this healthcare inequity. Back up your
statements with supporting documentation.
3. Submit your analysis by following the directions below:
 Save the document in .doc, .docx or .pdf format on your computer
 Use the ‘Select file’ button to select the file from your computer. Highlight the file you created in
the above steps.
