Write a reflection paper on your experience both as supervisor and supervisee in your live supervision practicum you experienced. Refer to the reading to elaborate on how what you have learned from the course material related to the role play experience. What are you learning about supervision.
I strongly recommend that you write this paper as close to your in class role play as possible rather than waiting until the due date- or at least journal about your experience immediately after your role play- so that you are reflecting on your experience while it is still fresh in your mind. You can hold on to it and add relevant references from the reading as the semester progresses.

During the role play I was the client. Ivette was acting as the therapist. My
Issue is what I was sharing with the class that my father is coming to visit me from Hungary with his wife and it is gives me anxiety. I left the country 16 years ago and he did not visit me yet. My parents divorced when I was 8 years old. Ivette asked questions about my relationship with my father, I told her is not as good as used to be because about when I was thirty years old I stopped to talk to him for a couple of years he did call me but I did not answer. I vette asked me why I did not answer the phone when he is calling me and she had an expression on her face that I was not going to answer because it was not objective. Ivette was asking the questions a little bit fast. My relationship with my dad is about every two months I give him a call. I don’t like his wife and they married 20 years ago. She was asking me many questions differently why I do not like her and I told her because she is dirty to me and hordering things many items and she was mean to my grandmother when I was young. She asked me questions about if I discussed that with my dad and I sad yes but our relationship get worst. I used to travel with my father a lot and it ended when he married her. We spend time together when I visited them every other weekend and summer times. My dad contacted me and said they will visit me next May or June and I am scared because I am not sure how I will be handling the situation . I stated maybe would be better if they stayed home and did not come. I helped them to fill out the visa. Ivette stated you look you going to cry and I started to cry. I cried when I was talking about that and I felt very sad even though I said I felt anxious.
I felt Ivette was asking good questions and I felt comfortable with her asking and I felt comfortable sharing.
