Entrepreneurship has been identified as the engine of growth globally, and recently the US launched its entrepreneurship program to rejuvenate its economy. Entrepreneurship in USA, is linked largely with SMEs; it is found that the SMEs in Malaysia contribute 2% higher to the national GDP, compared to the other companies. Write a paper on innovations in operations management of SME, and focusing on current and/or recent developments in a country that you are familiar with. Describe how it has impacted the economy at the national and the global level, and evaluate the Operations Management strategies that you would recommend for these entrepreneurs to impact the economy more significantly. Discuss the reflecting internal and external factors, risks, location planning, and globalization.
