Write a 2-3 page “product impact statement” that considers the social, environmental, and economic impacts on a simple product that you use in your
everyday life.
In your impact statement:
Describe how your chosen product is used by people.
Describe how your chosen product is made. (You can query “how is a [simple product] manufactured?” For example, “how is a pen manufactured?” results
in this site: http://www.madehow.com/Volume-3/Ballpoint-Pen.html describing how a pen is made).
Then, answer these questions:
How does it help the economy?
What value does it bring to people?
What effect does it have on the environment?
Last, summarize with a brief statement:
How your selected product does good and/or harms people, planet, profit (social, environmental, economic responsibility).
