public Sector

Discover the story of someone you consider to be a leader in the public sector. This person is anyone YOU consider
to be a leader in the public sector. This does not mean you need to interview a politician.
Steps for this assignment include:
• Identifying the issues you want to probe in your interview based on the reading
• Developing an interview outline (be sure to introduce yourself and the purpose)
• Setting up the interview (this can often take a lot of time)
• Doing the actual interview
• Writing up the results
In this assignment, you are to write the STORY of LEADERSHIP of this person. You may include his/her
leadership style(s), but I want to see the JOURNEY this person has taken to become a public sector leader.
