Qualitative and Quantitative Research Designs

Compare Qualitative and Quantitative Research Designs
This week, refer to the material in the readings to develop a comparison in the basic structures of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Using the facets described in the first few chapters of Litchman (2013), identify the specific parts of qualitative research studies and how each part is completed. Once this is completed, compare and contrast this material with quantitative constructs. Consider the overall outcome of both types, and then explain why each is used in order to begin describing why you might want to use qualitative research. This work goes toward the development of the purpose statement you will use in the concept paper in Week 8.
