1.    Choose a different real-life crime from three of the following:

A.    Interpersonal Violence
B.    Property Crime
C.    Enterprise Crime: White Collar and Green-Collar Crime
D.    Public Order Crime: Sex and Substance Abuse
E.    Crimes of the New Millennium: Cybercrime and Transnational Organized Crime

2.    Type an APA formatted paper of 3-5 pages to answer the following:

A.  Analyze each crime comparing at least 2 theories we discussed in class.
B.  How would Sharia/Qatari law treat the crime versus the mentioned justice system where the           crime occurred? E.g. Sharia vs U.S, U.K., etc.
C. If you use a crime from Sharia court, then compare it with western laws. For example, if it is a          felony or misdemeanor, what are the consequences?
D.  What is your feeling about the case?
E.  Cite your resources.

3.    An oral 5-minute presentation (discussion) of your research for each   portfolio.

PORTFOLIO BREAKDOWN

1.    Mention the chapter you are referring to.
2.    Give a summary and description of the case.
3.    Discuss theory 1 and how it relates to the crime.
4.    Discuss theory 2 and how it relates to the crime.
5.    Discuss probable Sharia/Qatari Law results.
6.    Discuss the justice system results involved in the case.
7.    Your Conclusion
8.    Include and cite all resources for all of the questions including:

b.    film/video
c.    books
d.    journals
e.    articles
f.    websites
