you will unite the observation skills of Colette Brooks, from In the City: Random Acts of Awareness, to the philosophical theories we have covered in class: those of Plutarch.Use the article i have given to you quote from it.
Your paper should have three elements: 1) the description of a personal urban experience of your choice, 2) an analysis of this experience in the language of one philosopher we have studied this quarter, and 3) your own philosophical analysis of the experience. For this third element, you may wish to expand your chosen philosopher?s analysis, challenge it, or to take the conversation in an entirely different direction.
