The heroes of the Illiad

The concepts of community, family, and the individual all play an important role in determining the behavior of the heroes of the Iliad. Analyze each of the aspects, detailing the actions of at least three of the heroes. Specific attention should be called to the motivation(s) of the heroes: why they do what they do, and what the consequences of their choices are.
