In organizing your review you will begin with a full bibliographic entry. Your first paragraph will be a discussion of the author – a
short biography, information on his/her education, other works, and related activities. In the second paragraph you will provide a
summary of the book. What was the theme? Primary argument? Key ideas that were examined? Important quotes that may illustrate the
major theme. In the third paragraph you will review the historical and cultural position of the work. Why this is considered an
important work? What did you learn from reading it? What does it tell you about the period in which it was written?
