You will submit this paper into the dropbox in D2L no later than 11:59 pm Saturday, April 11th. Your paper should be double-spaced, have one inch margins, and the font should be no larger than 12 point. Arial, Times New Roman, and Calibri are the accepted fonts. The paper should be between 2 and 4 pages in length.
Based on your reading of Abigail Adams: A Revolutionary Woman, what were the expected gender roles for women during the Colonial and Revolutionary era? In what ways did Abigail live up to these expected roles, and in what ways did she defy them? How did the creation of a new republic affect Abigail’s beliefs about the roles of women?
