ASSIGNMENT #12 – FINAL PROJECT Each team will write and present a comprehensive Marketing and Sales Plan for your chosen property for the year 2018. The written plan will be due by 5:00pm on Monday, November 28th. The written plan should be in Word and/or Excel. The plan format for Word is MLA, 12-point, Times New Roman, double-spaced. Teams will also present your plan to the class the final two weeks of the semester. Each team will have one class period to present. The presentation should last 75 minutes, allowing 10 minutes for a question and answer session. The presentation may include supporting media such as images, videos, websites etc. The final project is worth a total of 100 points and makes up 50% of your grade. The written plan must include all of the following areas: 1. Marketing Audit 2. Target Markets a. What/who are they? b. Why are they the right targets? 3. Outline of your property’s current position 4. Objectives and Action Plans: these should include your steps in Marketing AND Sales. Include any strategies or tactics you want Sales to use to move a prospect through the pipeline and to close a deal a. What are you planning to do? b. Why are you planning to do it? c. How are you planning to do it (eg: advertising? Website? Email? Phone call? Etc) d. Who will do it? e. When will it be done? f. How much will it cost? g. How much revenue do you expect to make? h. What kinds of sales objections would you expect to encounter? i. How would you tackle those objections? 5. Monitoring a. How will you monitor the success of the plan? 6. Evaluation a. How will you evaluate your plan? b. What measures will you use to determine how effective your plan has been? 7. Budget Summary a. One-page condensed outline of all costs and target revenue 8. Works Cited a. Provide citations of all references used in support of this plan in MLA format
