Analytical Report

Analytical Report

The minimum length is 2,000 words for the body of the report (not including the title
page, letter of transmittal, table of contents, abstract, references, and any appendices).
Again, please don’t feel overwhelmed as you have prepared much of this in your
previous assignments.
Please submit the analytical report in a text format, a MS Word format, or RTF
format. Do not submit in an HTML or a PDF format.
As you prepare and work toward the final product, please refer to the resources
posted under “Week 4>Analytical Report.”

  describe a topic that you think is a problem situation or an opportunity needing
attention (i.e.  regarding your “Ideal Class.”)

Peer Review:

Before you submit your final report, please find another individual in this course to review
your work.  This peer review will count as your “draft,” and is due preferably before the final
product in the Assignment folder marked, “Peer Review/Draft.”  Turn in either your draft
with marks or the peer review sheet with checkmarks.

Total Points:  10 Points (Pass/Fail) for having yours looked at by another WRTG 393
classmate.  If you do this, you’ll get 10 points.  If you don’t turn anything in, you’ll get a 0.
If you cannot find a classmate, then, find another person with a similar background as yours
to review the report.  If this case, you’ll get only 7 points.  You get credit for having yours
reviewed, not for reviewing another’s.  Therefore, please write the name of your reviewer
along with his/her remarks or the peer review checklist.

How to select a peer reviewer:  After you are ready to have someone you, please go onto
the Discussion Board for Week 3 and announce:  “My name is _____________ and I am
ready for a peer review.”  Then, the next person who sees it should respond and say, “I’ll do
it.”  Please exchange e-mails or connect via LEO and send the report to the other person.  In
most cases, you would review theirs while they review yours.  Please review by via “Track
Changes” in Microsoft Word.

Please see peer review sheet on the next page.
