The project is to create a fully functional Android Application that helps users manage their job applications, I have called the app JAM (Job Application Manager).
The user will be able to store data such as the company the job application is for, the role, salary etc. (all the fields are specified in the PDF attached). The data stored should be in an SQLite database which stores all data on the android device, no authentication is required.
Is is effectively a data storage app that can also display the data that has been entered by the user. The application must also include the ability to send notifications to the user (this is detailed in the PDF attached).
The application must be created in Android studio (1.4 or later) using JAVA and XML layouts. An explanation of what each part of each JAVA class does would be very beneficial (this can be done in comments in the code or in a seperate document).
Attached is a PDF of the designs for the application, is includes comments and is very specfic, it is not essential that the designs are followed 100%, but the reason why the design was not followed must be explained. The focus is on functionality of the application and not aesthetics.
The finished application must be delievered as an android project (called ‘JAM’) that can be sent to me so I can edit the application’s aesthetics.
