Topic : The SAT should/should not be required

Write an argumentative essay based on a dialectical approach.
An A or B essay will contain all key elements of an argumentative essay, including:

• A complete or open thesis

• A compelling introduction that explains your issue and appeals to your audience.

• Premises that support your thesis and are fully developed with facts, explations, detail and/or personal example

• Paragraphs that include examples of concession, counterargument and refutation

• A conclusion that does not repeat your claims so much as continues to keep the reader’s interest and brings your argument to a satisfying end.

• Proper use of transitional words

• Use of Rogerian Strategy if applicable
Guidelines:

You may use outside sources (information found on the web or in other media), but they are not required.
