Before you turn in Research Essay 2, you are required to submit an annotated bibliography containing at least 6 sources (more is better). Your bibliography will be formatted according to MLA requirements.
Please note that the Annotated Bibliography is not the same thing as the Works Cited page. The Annotated Bibliography will be turned in before the final draft of the essay and is an opportunity for you to get feedback on your sources as well as the direction of your research essay.
This bibliography will list, in alphabetical order, all of the sources you’ve found, followed by a brief annotation/summary of each source. The summary should be what the article is about? This is a good article for my paper because? NOTE : the articles that you choose should have the following, Do it present a counterargument? Will it provide an example? will it provide support for my argument?

 Wikipedia and other general encyclopedias
 The History Channel and The Learning Channel (and their websites)
 Ehow.com, about.com, and howstuffworks.com
 Greenhaven Press books from the library, Procon.org, Opposing Viewpoints database, and Issues and Controversies database (You can use these books/databases for one of your sources only.)
 A dictionary—you can reference a dictionary (and you must cite it if you do), but a dictionary cannot count toward your 6 sources.
