Assignment EIA

This evaluation is based on chapters from the text by Noble that were noted in each module any readings and as well all nine module notes.
The purpose of this exam is to give you a chance to show how you have synthesized all the information you studied this term as it relates to the field

of EIAs.
Scenario: You are employed by an engineering consultant whose client is a proponent that is proposing to construct, operate and decommission a basalt

quarry very similar in location (ocean side), size, magnitude and human health and environmental risks as those encountered at the Nova Scotia Whites

Point Quarry Project. Your client needs advice as to whether to proceed with the Environmental Impact assessment or not.
You have to provide a clear report summarizing the issues that should concern your client as it relates to their site. This report must be very clear

and concise for the client. It should not be too long, but convey the issues in such a manner the client can decide his next steps. This report cannot

exceed 3000 words and must be in Times New Roman, double-spaced at font size 12. Make sure your name is on the report. You may add diagrams if you like

to add clarity. Finally, make sure your report ends with clear recommendations to your client.
Note: There was a joint panel review for this project and the recommendation was not positive.
