Vocational Scenario or Context
You are employed as a trainee for an Environmental Consultants practice. The practice has been selected to work on a consultant basis for the Architects practice who are designing St Michaels Development in Manchester City Centre.
You have been tasked with producing a presentation and report to form part of the environmental impact statement for the proposed Project.
In total, St. Michael’s will offer 700,000 sq ft of mixed-use accommodation within Manchester’s Civic Core and will comprise:
· 159 luxury residences
· 138,000 sq ft of Grade A offices
· A 201 bed 5* Hotel
· 49,000 sq ft of leisure space
· 200 car parking spaces
· A new synagogue

In regard to the projects location in the City of Manchester and the stages of construction mentioned above, take into account how the local residents would evaluate how the project’s environmental impact should be handled.
You are required to produce a PowerPoint presentation to industry standard which includes the following information:
•Environmental issues of concern which are instigated by the construction and built environment sector, taking into consideration local issues which may affect this environment as a direct result of this project.
•Examine the methods used to address environmental issues.
D1: Provide a conclusion which includes a critical self-evaluation of how you preformed in the presentation, highlighting your strengths and weakness
