You are required to write an essay of up to 1,500 words, excluding references, analyzing, interpreting and evaluating one of the three articles from mass media included below.
Please use a legible font, like Times New Roman 12, and double space formatting. You must also use a consistent version of Harvard style referencing.
Your essay must address the following questions:
1-) What are the central claims made in the article and are these claims supported or contradicted by academic scholarship on related topics? Show clear links to at least three of the following themes in studies of work, employment and HRM:
• demographic trends
• social trends
• technological trends
• the forces of globalization
• government policies and legal regulation
• macro-trends in the organization of work and the employment

2-) What are the direct implications of the article, as well as of your analysis, for the practice of HRM and the work of managers?
