Scenario
About many new businesses start in the KSA each year, but may fail to survive. This Project shall focus at the factors that help new businesses to succeed and enables you to apply those to a practical situation. To complete this assignment you need to complete a series of tasks which will look at how you can prepare to set up a business, the factors that need to be considered when setting up a business and the factors that need to be considered to start and run your business
Task1 (Explain how knowledge of personal strengths and weaknesses can be applied to preparing for and contributing to a business
a)Create a table which explains:
The skills and qualities you have which make you able to run your own business
The skills and qualities you have which may stop you from becoming a good Business owner
In each case, describe how this knowledge of your own personal strengths and weaknesses can
be applied to preparing for and contributing to a business

b) Now that you have identified your own strengths and weaknesses related to setting up a business, choose a business you would like to set-up, bearing in mind your personal characteristics.
Research and report upon what is required to run this kind of business in terms of resources, skills needed, decisions to be made, time and help. Use examples to support your thoughts and ideas.
Your report should include the following:
Title” ‘The Vision & Mission of your business and how you will setup them’
(i) An introduction to the business
The type of business you have chosen. Explain why you have chosen this form of ownership. How does this support your own strengths and weaknesses?
The aims and objectives of your business. What skills will you need to achieve these aims/objectives?
What resources would be needed (e.g. money, labour, premises and equipment). What skills will be needed when planning and running the business?
(ii) How you can apply your personal strengths and weaknesses to preparing for and running the business–Use help sheet
Task2 (Explain, using examples, the benefits of starting a business)
If you were to set-up this business, prepare a power Point which provides details of benefits that you would gain from running your chosen business. Again, use examples to support your ideas.
