In the context of today?s health service system, what is an Integrated Delivery System (IDS)? Why are they increasing in popularity across Canada? What are the various

structures for IDS, payment, workload and so on, and some of the associated challenges? As a manager in a health service organization, how could you include yourself

in an IDS? What are your recommendations in this regard? If you are already involved in an IDS, explain the role of your organization, and how it affects your work and

your patients/clients. Remember to consider the professional competencies when making recommendations, and even when thinking about the pros and cons of potential
