You are to chose an artifact (object or building) from the Renaissance period. You can look into other objects through comparative analysis or as evidence when you argue your position. But your object is the focus and central case study that you go into deep analysis of. You choose the term that fits your position and that best labels the particular phenomenon / artistic exchange of your object: exchange, borrowing, influence, appropriation, copying…etc. You need to explain not only the phenomenon but its reasons: political, cultural, economic….etc.
