CIS 2103 – Principles of Information Security

This is the main project for your CIS 2103 course. This is a team project. Teams can have two or three member. Individual work is not allowed, except with special arrangement.

Grading:
This project will have 15% of your total grade. 10% is on the report and 5% is on the Presentation.
The project report will have a total of 100 points. Grades will be based on and distributed as follow:
–    Completeness (All points, below, are covered. Make sure to use graphics, diagrams, drawings, etc.) (50 points)
–    Content and value (Information provided must be well-written, language and grammar error-free, and have relevance to the materials covered in this course) (10 points)
–    Effort (Your project must display a reasonable level of effort. Sophisticated content is expected) (10 points)
–    Innovative and Critical Thinking. I highly encourage new ideas. Although you have all the general ideas covered in the course, you should be innovative in coming up with new and unique ideas. Your Security Policy must reflect critical thinking. In other words, use the knowledge learned in the course, and in your research, to have your own depth into the Security Policy. (5 points)

You must develop a comprehensive Security Policy using the following structure:

•    Cover page (be professional) (5 points)
•    Table of contents (5 points)
•    Introduction / Executive Summary (10 points)
•    Complete Security Policy (75 points)
•    References/bibliography (5 points)
