Purpose: This assignment introduces you to a framework for the analysis of literature. Assignment two will build on these skills.
Task: Select two of the course readings listed below and answer the following questions. There are two marks allocated for each of the five parts of the task. If you come from a county other than New Zealand you may answer this assignment with reference to your home country.
? How are each of the two readings related to the first or second learning objective of the course? ? Summarise the central idea of each piece of literature (you may use bullet points) ? How does each author/s provide evidence to support the argument? ? Compare and contrast these readings with each other. ? How are these readings useful for you as a student teacher?
