Based on your own research and the theory from the first three topics from the module identify what is meant by a ‘Bottom of the Pyramid’ (BOP) strategy and discuss your understanding of both advantages and disadvantages for organisations adopting this strategy.

• You are expected to use research and current sources of reference to introduce examples that will support your conclusions.

You must use Harvard referencing in your work to show your sources of information and to provide an evidence base for your work and conclusions. You are expected to use reliable sources that encompass both academic and current news articles.

o This essay requires students to apply the theory from the first three topics of the module to examine a contemporary issue. You will be expected to support your conclusions with current secondary research on the topic.
o Word count 2000 words (+/- 10%)
o Submission date 15nd November at 23.00 – to be submitted in a word document via the assignment portal on the module website.
