After reading Chapter 14, select one example of a domestic terrorist event that occurred within the United States. After researching your chosen domestic terrorist event, please provide a background on the case. For example, when did it occur, how many people were injured or killed, who was responsible, what was the motivation behind the event, consequences of the event, etc. Note, this section should be a minimum of one (1) content page however you are welcome to exceed the one page length requirement.
After summarizing the event, next select a major Criminological theory that attempts to explain domestic terrorism. Note: For the purposes of this assignment, you are free to choose either the “lone wolf” type of incident in which there is typically one primary perpetrator, i.e. Eric Rudolph, or you may choose an incident of terrorism perpetrated via a coordinated effort such as the multiple events of 9-11. Note: This second section of the assignment should be a minimum of one (1) content page however you are again free to exceed the minimum length requirement.
The second assignment should be a minimum of two (2) substantive content pages total (one page for each component), exclusive of title page and references.
