Seen exam case study. 2500 roughly , no need to reference to much as it’s a seen exam/The case study is as follows.
Katy is eleven and lives in Yate with her parents Julie and Andy and her brothers aged four and seven. She is over-weight for her age and finds school a struggle both

academically and socially. She has few friends and spends much of her time alone with only her computer for company. Katy has become very secretive and withdrawn. Her

parents suspect she is being bullied on-line but have no evidence of this and Katy denies that it is happening.

The family is struggling financially since Andy lost his job eighteen months ago. The marriage is strained and things are difficult at home. Her mother has recently

been diagnosed with depression and referred for counselling alongside a course of anti-depressants.

Following several incidents of Katy being caught stealing from other pupils at school, her head teacher has asked for a meeting with her parents and is deliberating

whether to involve the police and/or call in a specialist in to assess whether or not Katy is suffering from a behavioural and/or emotional disorder. Meanwhile, Katy’s

parents, particularly her mother, are concerned about her moods and wonder if she too might not benefit from a course of anti-depressants

Along with one in eight children in her junior school, she has already been diagnosed as having Special Educational Needs (in her case, related to her relative social

isolation from other children and difficulty in making friends). The class are currently preparing for KS2 tests.
