Critically evaluate Interface as “a model for sustainable business”

Sustainability Coursework Guidelines
The coursework is divided into two sections:
First, a discussion on the concept of sustainable development(sustainability), and an evaluation of the implications for business (30%)
Secondly, an assessment of Interface’s identification of the company’s social and environmental impacts, and of the implementation of a sustainable strategy (70%)

Section One
The first part requires an explanation of the concept, and how it has developed (with reference to academic writings on the topic)…
It also requires an evaluation of the impact on businesses, both in terms of the changing external business environment and the resultant implications for corporate strategies
Section Two
This section requires an evaluation of the reconfiguration of the company’s strategy so that its operations are “in line with sustainability principles”
There is, thus, a requirement to assess how Interface analysed the social and environmental impact of the company’s activities…
…taking into account stakeholder expectations both now and in the future
..a requirement to assess Interface’s formulation of sustainable strategies in line with sustainability principles
…a requirement to evaluate Interface’s implementation of sustainable strategies aimed at adding both stakeholder and shareholder value
