This article presents the results of an empirical study in which the attitudes and values of workers were surveyed and analysed with regard to the cultural and

economic structures of four societies around the globe. As a longitudinal study, it seeks to ascertain whether attitudes will change over time as culture shifts. Focus

on the conclusions in Section 8 which addresses criteria frequently assessed in a cross-cultural analytical framework.

After you have read the article, complete the following:

Write a paper explaining the concept of crossvergence and analysing the evidence provided in the Kelley, MacNab, and Worthley study. Evaluate the study’s claim that

culture is not static and organisational policies and practices need to take account of complex interactions between different cultural values. Provide specific

examples to support your conclusions.
