This is a database system class so please use excel in order to do the assignment i will upload the slides, a picture of the digram which you need, the questions and instructions, and my friend’s work just to get an idea please do not copy my friend work do something similar to it Assignment of chapter 6 Complete the following questions/problems from Chapter 6. Pay attention to the instructions on this sheet, since they sometimes override the instructions in the problem. You must use Excel to complete your assignment, just make sure all answers are easily readable, and easy for me to find. Examine Table P6.3 on page 238. using Excel, use one tab per diagram. 1 Draw a dependence diagram for 1NF. Identify all partial and transitive dependencies. 2 Draw a dependence diagram for 2NF. Identify all transitive dependencies. 3 Draw a dependence diagram for 3NF. Note: You may find it helpful to invert the table with the attributes as columns and each sample value as rows. Consider the example in the slides and book for help on how to complete this. Another Note: A dependence diagram includes some distinctive way to denote primary key(s), as well as the dependencies (drawn lines work well, but you can do it a different way as long as it is evident to me).
