delinquency
Project description
find articles that include the theoretical frame work. discuss the theoretical frame work pertaining to
my topic. Also include articles that discuss their methods to use for the literature.
Social learning theory argues that aggressive behavior is learned; as parents display aggressive
behavior, children learn to imitate it as an acceptable means of achieving goals (Wright & Wright 1994).
Here is another example:Juby and Farrington (2001) claim that there are three major classes that explain
the relationship between disrupted families and delinquency; trauma theories, life course theories, and
selection theories. The trauma theories suggest that the loss of a parent has a damaging effect on
children, most commonly because of the effect on attachment to the parent. Life course theories focus
on separation as a long drawn out process rather than a discrete event, and on the effects of multiple
stressors typically associated with separation. Selections theories argue that disrupted families are
associated with delinquency because of pre-existing differences in family income or child rearing
methods, for example (Juby & Farrington 2001). I will also upload a document pertaining to delinquency
theorie
Basically, an annotated bibliography consists of two elements: (a) a standard entry using the APA
format for citations and (b) a short abstract describing the work. Observe the following rules when
creating an annotated bibliography for your senior research project:
Use double spacing throughout the bibliography.
Write a standard reference entry.
If the standard entry is more than one line, use a hanging indentation: The first line should start at the
left margin, and subsequent lines should be indented four spaces. The right margin is the right margin of
your document.
Go down to the next line, indent two more spaces, and write the annotation.
The annotation can consist of (a) a short summary of the work referenced and (b) if you like a short
description of how the work relates to your research.
Note that annotations need not be complete sentences, but tend to be grammatically parallel.
In an extensive annotated bibliography, you may break down the entries into different categories or
topics.
For purposes of the assigned annotated bibliography set out in the course syllabus, YOU ARE REQUIRED:
1. To write annotations that is 150 to 200 words in length.
2. To write 25 annotations for your proposed research topic. DO NOT SUBMIT ONLY 15 annotations (as
is alluded to in the syllabus).
The reason you are submitting 25 annotations at the beginning of the course is so you can eventually
“whittle down,” if necessary, your references to no less than fifteen sources because your final paper
MUST have 15 references at a minimum.
