Agree, because not easy to control many organization in different location and deal with.

2. If management practices and coordination techniques work well for a company

in its home country, they probably will be successful in the company’s international divisions as well?

Disagree. Maybe its work but the truth is each location in the same country need techniques, so that going to be with different country for sure.

2. It is an especially difficult challenge to work on a global team to coordinate one’s own activities and share new ideas and insights with colleagues in different divisions around the world?

Agree, because they are speaking different languages, culture and thinking ways. On the other hand it is not difficult for people who have the same language or culture because they have a special skills and speaking other language for example international students in US universities can deal with people whom speak English.

3. If management practices and coordination techniques work well for a company in its home country, they probably will be successful in the company’s international divisions as well?

Disagree, because in the word there are different cultures, rules and people thinking that will make it difficult for some managers to manage practices and coordination techniques work in different country they have to change their strategies to be successful company.

Section 3:

a. What is the learning from that week’s information?

I have learned for this chapter that how managers can design an international organization environment. Moreover, global forces are important that affecting the global organization from building a global presence to motivating global expansion

b. How is this week’s information related/integrated with previous week’s information?

Both chapters are related together. All these chapters present two important points in any organization first one is the relationship between organizations and employees. And the second is the international environment. Also some specific challenges faced to global organization.

Section 4:

a. Reflect on your work environment issues that are similar to the chapter content?

I have learned from this chapter the similarity from my previous knowledge experience, helpful work in any organization or department is working in group or with partnership. Furthermore any organization can not start their business as individual they have to contact with an organization bigger and have more experiences than them.

b. Apply the content to the chapter to the case assignments (see separate section of syllabus)?

I have learned from the case assignment that the good plan, financial, experiences and successful teamwork are the most important thing to start a new idea. Because there are a lot of challenges for starting or working overseas business and a good manager has experience and ability to deal with these things to succeed his/her global business.

Section 5:

a. Your career goals

My career goals are increasing my knowledge in order to achieve my future job skills. And take the advantage of studying in US university I will try to build my relationship with my American friends in order to earn as much as I can from different overseas experiences.

b. Your current work experiences?

I have learned from this chapter, how the global organizations have different strategies that helping it to succeed in their business and the global organization have to follow the rules for every country they want to make a business for example; McDonalds do not provide pork meals in their branch in Saudi Arabia. However I can use this information to help me if I will open a global company in future to deal with global challenges and competitors.

c. Any other learning points that you would like to discuss, including questions that your new knowledge raises?

I have a point i would talk about it the global teams. The global team is used a lot from IT people because as we know IT filed focusing on connection between people or machines over the word by network so to makes everything right in each country it has to be a done by a human. For example, if I would like to connect a server for an organization in US to a server in Saudi Arabia I have to connect with someone there to do same structure that I will do it in US so in my opinion IT teams in most the time are called global team because of the work environment .
