A base website is provided. The following is needed:
The idea of the site is to be a comic reading site. With this in mind, all comic information must be stored in the database (which is included in the PHP scripts) with relevant tables such as publisher, comic name, year of publishing, current issues, etc etc, and the files themselves are to be stored locally on the machine.
Currently the PHP scripts handles hashing the passwords and they are then stored in the database. This is very insecure and this functionality must be done with JS on the local machine, and the hashed password is then stored via PHP. The PHP and JS will need heavy optimization. Really heavy optimization.
CSS layout is slightly inconsistent and not very pleasing. The idea of the website is that it caters to tablets first, and computers second. Thus, options, links, forms, and everything else must be scaled with that in mind. A major point coming to mind is the social buttons embedded on the pages, the logo on the home page, the entire demo div on the demo page is entirely out of whack.
There are possibly some grammatical or spelling errors and these need addressing.
There are two unlinked pages titled AdminSomething.php and AdminSomethingElse.php. These pages should be functional as of now but need to be linked and only shown if the logged in user is an admin. This is done by checking the user db for an admin attribute. Full access to the DB is given to you through PHP and feel free to create a new table for this purpose. Or you can send me the SQL scripts needed and I’ll run them on the database.
Above all, the site must satisfy all of the requirements specified in the attached documents.
And please, do document any assumptions and I prefer if they are run by me first.
