Find a poem in an East Asian language and its English translation. Write an essay analyzing the linguistic elements and structural units in the poem. Comment on the syntactic form of each line. Do you see the lines break at the phrasal boundaries? What kind of syntactic and semantic units can be found in each line of the poem?
