Educational Research

Order Description

In general, educational research has been criticized over the years by the “hard” sciences for its lack of rigor, strong causal inferences, and replicability. Explain the grounds for these criticisms, and discuss from both the qualitative and the quantitative perspectives, how educational research can address these concerns?
Pleas Using
Cite Hedges (1987), also Creswell’s book Qualitative Inquiry and Research Design (2011)
Creswell (2011). Qualitative Inquiry & Research Design: Choosing Among Five Approaches. 3rd Ed. Sage Publishing, Los Angeles, Ca.
It would be a good idea to include a citation or even a quote here. Good example would be the Hedges article from the first class (Hedges, 1987). Additional cites could include Eisner (1998), Levin and O’Donnell (1999) and Moss et al (2009)
Elliot W. The Enlightened Eye: Qualitative Inquiry and the Enhancement of Educational Practice (1991). It’s a bit dated at 1991, but he explains very clearly and succinctly the value of qualitative research.
