  Develop and plot the transfer functio n of a first-order circuit on semi-logarithmic graphs.
  Draw and label the magnitude and phase Bode plots for the transfer
function of a firs t-order circuit.

Prelaboratory Preparation

Determine the transfer function for the circuit shown in Figure 32-1.  Generate the
Bode plots from the transfer function.  Use a circuit simulation software program
to verify the Bode plots.   Generate a frequency response plot using a spreadsheet.
Verify with a circuit simulation program.

Procedure

Make enough measurements to verify the predicted circuit operation.  You must
determine the measurements that need to be taken.

Questions

1.   Compare the predicted and simulation results with the experimental
results.  Explain any differences.
2.   Describe the behavior of this circuit in detail.  What causes the
frequency response plot to have its shape?
3.   Compare it to the behavior of the RL circuit in Experiment 30 as
shown in Figure 30-1(c).
