Environmental protection, in radiation protection field

The research components :

• The scope of current study will demonstrate the principles and concepts of radiation pro-tection, the duties and

responsibilities of Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) toward any radioactive material source ( specifically in Naturally Occur-ring

Radioactive Materials field (NORM)) and the risk effects of ionizing radiation (or unintended radiation exposure ) on the staff and work

environment.

Research Questions
• What are the principles and concepts of radiation protection in the industrial environ-ment?
• What are the basic duties and responsibilities of the radiation safety officer RSO?
• Why do organizations have to use and follow radiation protection standards?
• Which are the worst consequences or risks of unintended radiation exposure and health hazards to the staff and work

environment?(this part, it can be statics about the accidents or injuries that happened because of not following the instructions or

protocols of radia-tion protection )

• Methodology and Description of the Systematic Review section involves gathering information from either primary or

secondary data sources to help in answering the re-search questions. The current study will mainly collect data from the journal articles

( must be peer interviewing ), such as PubMed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect or Scopus.

• The articles must be published within the last 8 years (2011 to 2018).

• The search terms would be include,
• “ ENVIRONMENTAL RADIATION PROTECTION, THE RADIATION PROTEC-TION STANDARDS, THE EFFECTS OF RADIATION PROTECTION ”
• “ RADIATION PROTECTION, THE RADIATION PROTECTION STANDARDS, THE EFFECTS OF IONIZING RADIATION ”
• “ THE SAFETY OF RADIATION PROTECTION,THE EFFECTS OF IONIZING RADIATION EXPOSURE ON THE ENVIRONMENT ”.
• “ALARA STANDARDS, RADIATION SAFETY OFFICER RSO, NORM”
• * NORM = Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials
